Legal problems don’t always occur between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and one of our clients who is a leading attorney was seeking a solution to be available to potential and existing clients after hours and on weekends.  Our client needed a solution that was better than voice mail, because he understood that when legal problems arise, people want to talk to a "live" person, not an answering machine, and that they want quick action.  Our client also wanted a more professional and effective solution than just giving out his cell phone number to after hours callers on the office voice mail, because many times those callers aren't in a position to write down and then call another phone number.  Our client wanted something that would make it easy, simple, and convenient for his after hours and weekend callers to reach him or another attorney, regardless of their location or the type of phone (cell phone, home phone, etc) they were using at the time of the call.

Call Answering
The Virtual Auto Attendant automatically answers calls after hours and on weekends, greeting callers with a professionally produced and time sensitive greeting that assures callers that they will be speaking to an attorney "live" in just a moment!

Call Routing
The Virtual Auto Attendant automatically determines the best attorney for the type of legal problem the caller is calling about, then locates that attorney and connects the caller to the attorney “live”, in real time, regardless of the attorney's location or the type of phone the attorney is using at the time of the call (cell phone, home phone, office phone, or any phone)!

If for any reason the best attorney to handle the call is not available, the VPA locates the next best attorney on the list and connects the caller to that attorney “live”, in real time. 

Call Queuing
If all attorneys are busy at the time of the call, Virtual Auto Attendant gives the caller the option to press “1” to continue holding for the next available attorney, or press “2” to receive a call back from an attorney in a few minutes, eliminating hang-ups and missed calls.

Caller ID
Attorneys see the office number in their Caller ID whenever the Virtual Auto Attendant routes an after hours call to them, enabling them to distinguish personal calls from business calls on their personal phones (cell phone, home phone, etc).

In Call Controls
Attorneys can 1) transfer “live” calls to another attorney or staff member, 2) transfer "live" calls from their cell phone to their home phone, 3) place the caller on hold with the caller listening to the law firm's custom On-hold Music or Message, and 4) place the caller into their voice mail box without hanging up.

On-hold Music or Message
The Virtual Auto Attendant plays the law firm's On-hold Music or Message whenever it performs a transfer or an attorney places the caller on-hold, regardless of the type of phone the attorney is using (cell phone, home phone, etc).

Outbound Caller ID
The Virtual Auto Attendant empowers attorneys to place outbound calls their cell phone, home phone or any phone with the appearance that they are calling from the law office.  The recipients of their calls only see the law office phone number in their Caller ID- not the phone number they're actually calling from!

Voice Mail
If the caller chooses to leave a message and receive a call back from an attorney, the Virtual Auto Attendant delivers the message to the attorneys email address and notifies the attorney via SMS text message that they have a new voice message waiting for them to retrieve.  While listening to the voice mail message the attorney can press "6" and your the Virtual Auto Attendant will dial the caller's phone number for them so they can return the call quickly without having to stop and write down the caller's phone number!

Call Alerts
The Virtual Auto Attendant automatically alerts select attorneys every time an after hours call comes in, even if the caller does not speak to an attorney “live” or leave a message. The alert includes the caller’s number, name, location and call date & time.

Call Tracking
The Virtual Auto Attendant automatically gives the law firm statistics and demographics on who their after hours callers are. Shows the peak call times, call activity by dates, times, durations; and uses Google Maps to show the call history by geography.
